Dark Woman Poem by dino evans

Dark Woman

A witch... is she, who has cast a spell over all that I am,
Over all I will be, or was, and faces the uncertain future,
The uncertainty that infects us all...

Spirit...
deep and unreachable, as remote as the bottom of the ocean,
as soft as a baby's kiss, As gentle as the cry of a kitten...

Passion, , , ,
filled with a confidence and a fire,
A fire that kindles in you, a dark passion as well,
That sets your soul on fire along with your ability to resist...

Desire, , , ,
of a kind that holds a man, captures him,
Locks his heart into a deep desire for her,
Sometimes heartbreaking, but none the less permanent...

Feelings, , , ,
thoughtful, truthful, painful feelings,
The kind that make you want to have no feelings,
As you realize, that you've never felt so alive...

Darkness, , , ,
thrown into the darkness of which there is no escape,
No chance of retuning, or forgetting,
No escaping the dark brown eyes that look through you, into you...

Light, , , ,
but not the light that warms, the kind that draws you in,
And holds you, as long as she wants you,
And she wants you.......

Thought, , ,
thoughts of times when you were under her influence,
Which is all the time, day and night, forever.....now......

Fear, , , ,
to be in her presence, because the beauty is too much,
And your heart might burst if you look in her eyes,
Fear that if you look away, you may never see that beauty again...

Pain, , , ,
pain that you would feel to be away from her,
Pain, the loneliness to spend one night without her,
And the exquisite pain of ecstasy to spend one night with her...

She can transform you into different people,
The people you could be someday,
The people you really are...

She's an angel and a demon,
An angel to your bleeding heart, and the demon,
The demon is your fear of losing her...losing yourself...

An illusion, real and impossible, that can't be true,
But is, and that makes you feel content,
But at the same time fills you with a dread... a dread that it will end.
