Tonight I lay a broken man,
After seemingly doing all I can,
To make you see the way I see,
That you and me are meant to be.
A bitter twisted end is this,
To what started out as sheer bliss,
A poor judge of character I seem to be,
As this always seems to happen to me.
But alas, this time I've had enough,
I'm fed up of trying to act so tough,
I cannot take this anymore,
You've torn me up, oh so raw.
At this time in my life, no matter how I try,
No matter how hard I push, I cannot cry,
I feel as though I no longer have a soul,
Inside I feel a bitter hole.
So as I lay here after my darkened dose,
I hope one thing you'll know the most,
Is my vengeance will be strong, I will haunt your dreams,
And make you do what you have made me.
