Darker Side Poem by Tanner Geldart

Can you see the darker side of me?
The side that yearns to erupt and rip this world apart?
Tear humanity limb from limb and leave only the few who are truly good behind for a new start?
Well can you see the side I fear and yet thats the side I hold so dear.
I never knew why till now that it was you the reason I hold that monster dear.
Cuz he gives me the strength to know I can protect you should you need it.
And the day you do I'll be there to tear them apart.
Death to me isn't a consqeunce so long as I'm always in your heart.
This was the start now it's the end can you truly see the darker side of me?
