Darkness Poem by Rachel Branscombe

Darkness

The darkness binds and stops us
We are kept within its walls
It's a room of tinted glass we can't see
The light desperately tries to get through
The darkness strives to block it out
Occasionally there are cracks in the glass
The light seeps through these holes
It illuminates the room
And for a time the darkness has no hold
That is when we see the door
The way out of the darkness
In our binds of darkness we struggle to get to it
It takes all our effort but we make it
All at once my binds are gone
Freedom is at hand
Paradise is on the horizon

hope is always there, always loyal and never leaves us, even if it just a dot so, do not ever lose hope of as difficult as your situation because only you that able to face your darkness and turn it into a light paradise
