Darkness
Darkness is what I see
The darkness of the world
The darkness of myself
all the pain
all the sorrow
and all the hurt

I have no to talk to
no one to love me
no one to help battle the darkness with

Darkness
Darkness is all around me
wanting to conquer me
and I can barely stand

Yet
All around me I see
I see others having another
fighting by their side
fighting the darkness and conquering it

Does anyone see my struggle?
Does anyone see my plight?
Does anyone even care?
Care that I'm fighting
fighting to stay alive
fighting to keep the little bit of
good in me alive
a good thing in the world alive
Will no one fight beside me?
I beg thee fight with me or send
someone who will and will stay
when the fight is won
and will love me forever.
