Darkness Poem by Austin Raymond

Darkness

A Space in time
Where the use of an eye
will matter not.
Look around the lot.
Carry the image close,
For you will not see.
A time when dreams
Carry us in our sleep.
A place a rainbow
Will never see.
The privacy for lovers
Who need not bed covers.
A time the owl needs,
For this is when he feeds.
The wolf cries his bark
Only now in the dark.
