Have you ever been in love?
Sucks, doesn't it?
You've heard it makes you vulnerable,
But nothing compares.
It's like a simple goodbye can make you ache for more.
It's like you just keep falling, unable to touch the floor.
You can try to ignore it.
You can yearn and pine for it.
You can even give yourself way too much time for it.
But nothing compares to the agony of succumbing to it.
It's there with you everywhere, always torturing you.
You try to get out, but then he just looks at you.
I hate love.
