Dawn Poem by Jinge Norvall

Dawn

Amber tendril'd
O'er night-time's sleeping breast
Unfurling limbs pale,
Gold caressed;
Molten velvet
erupts
In crimson day
Luminous kisses
To night's retreating veil.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I am not at my best at dawn, & hence seldom appreciate the beauty of the dawning day... but I wrote this one morning when I woke early enough to watch dawn sweep away the night & explode into day!
