Dawn Poem by Rinzen Norbu

Dawn

Rating: 5.0

When the stars in the sky are fading bit by bit
and we're about to lose sight of the twilight sky,
Surely in a little bit... the arrival of dawn will come in a little bit
In this world that goes on forever, I'll always cheer you by.

There is no night that will last forever,
even if it's in the rain, though it's little by little,
the scent of elapsing wind will change,
Repainting the mundane night into sanguine firmament.

Hark the birds sing a song of castles in the air
Life's sublime grandeur in their virtuosity declared
bewitched by aurora and i her tithonus ensnared
And thence i fell deep in a tranquil trance unaware

Bitter sweet be the parting of Selene and Endymion in his cave
while we in the arms of morpheus in our cradle lay
Eos in her chariot heralds the break of the day
followed by proud Helious beaming down at the mortal glades
Thence the moon and the stars retire to their stellar bed
Life is as evanascent as ever, like a midsummers masquerade
