Dawn Poem by Jude Ogunade

Dawn

Dawn
A quiet solitude.
Morning's Mum.
A moulded attitude,
As night slept.
Moments of quietude.
Ease exudes.
The day's flowing fabric.
Mason's bricks.
The gatekeeper of strife.
Budding life.
Now, Men; your chores begin.
Mark. Set. Go!
And the children follow,
Believing.
Each path they choose to go,
Trustingly.
Eking out a living,
Fulfilling,
Mother Earth's call: The Dawn!

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
'Every day presents itself as a gift for us, a new chance to do better than the day before. Success is inherent in our resolve to do better than yesterday, let us then therefore embrace with enthusiasm and renew ardour the opportunities that each new day presents.' Jude Adebosoye Ogunade
