Dawn Poem by Aimee Nell

Dawn

The sky lightens as the sun leads dawn in its gallop to brighten the heavens.
The eternal war against darkness;
The dawn presses night away.
Pushing away sorrow and regret,
Lies and betrayal.
To bring trust and new hope,
Life and joy.
For dawn must always proceed night.
But dusk alike, is destined to come,
And with it, darkness once again.
