I lie awake at night,
Thinking about you.
And when I fall asleep,
I dream of you.
When I wake, I think
'What I wouldn't give,
To spend one night with you.'
To see your face,
To hear your voice,
To feel your touch...
Just to hug you,
To feel you against me.
Just to see your smile,
To trace your lips with my fingers.
Just to hear you say 'I love you',
To replay in my head forever more.
Just to kiss you once,
For me to remember forever.
I sit here thinking about you,
Wondering,
'Do you feel the same? '
If only the distance between us was not so great.
But I know the distance between our hearts is none...
