Dawning Of A New Day Poem by Skylark Woodrow

Dawning Of A New Day

Rating: 5.0

Dawn steals over the earth,
Its' light chasing away the darkness that envelops it.
Vibrant hues of pinks, yellows, blues, greens, and purples replace the inky blackness.
The twinkling stars disappear,
The moon says goodnight as the sun brings in the morning.
It's a new day bright and beautiful; full of promise,
Holding its' breath,
Waiting for you to take its' hand and make the most of it.
