Dawn's Velvet Touch Poem by Roger Snow

Dawn's Velvet Touch

Rating: 5.0

sittin', , , you're Wondering, , ,

can that Sky get any better
Can this Mountain feel any taller
and can my worries, , , be any smaller, ,

Guessin', you'd like to come along
and if this Road can get us together, ,
then Willin' I'd be, , , travel forever with you
couldn't hurt us, , certainly couldn't be wrong, ,

Across that Great Divide, ,
back into the badlands, ,
unto the Sawtooth countryside, ,

Sittin', you're Wondering

could we get away with wandering, , ,
and if so, for how long, ,

There's no tellin' what we can get away with
if we won't even try, , ,
I'm not a Novice, and that's a fact, ,
and another good reason why? ? ?
these roads I've known since before
they were paved, ,
many a mile racked
some days, not enough of em for what
I craved, , ,

Sittin' you're Wondering, ,
can He be Trusted, , ,

hell child, , I don't do things that
can get me Busted, , ,

Original and nice dialogue. Gettin' to feel the warmth and proximity of the landscape and the conversation. Well done, very pleasin', without scandals or noisy detonation.

Hi Sandra, and thank you, Penned per my Life Events with a very special Lady in Mind (She inspires me alot, so she is subject in many songs and Poems I pen) Gives the Feel, sets the base, makes it real for me as I muse, and the words flow without conscious intent, sub-conscious is the source. Thank you so very much. all is given open source, to be used as people please. Thank you again Rog'
