Day Of Love - Poem by Crystal A. McKain

He begged me to come
back to him
He promised me things
that never did come true.
And once again he broke my
heart into two.
Now I wonder why he walked
away, why he couldn't stay.
When he left he took my heart and
left his memory.
This day of love turned out to be
A day for crying.
