Day One Poem by kilo go

day one of my search, i went abroad
to the sun moon and stars... but i only found God
He told me to stop, my search was in vain
I said 'you're wrong', with a certain disdain
I continued to search, through the depths of space
hoping to find it, floating in place
alas i was wrong, it was nowhere to be
I am not deterred, i will find it you see
it cannot be gone, i refuse to believe
I will try again, when the stars have dimmed
and the light from your heart, will show from within
it will be a beacon, to be seen from afar
With no light, it will shine like a star
then i will find it, i only have to wait
till the end of time, this is my fate.
