Day Tripper

some say I am
like the band Iron Maiden,
never on the radio,
but everyone wants to
hear them.
some say I am
a tease and only let
people half way into my head
they only walked one
step into the room.
i'm usually hard to
hold on to.
yet some people truely love me,
or even understand.
i guess i'll stay
a day tripper
until they see me
my way
