Daydream Poem by Ebubechi Ireke

Daydream

I love him,
But he doesn't know of my existence.
Only if he could notice me,
But alas,
I don't exist in his world.

I watched him with admiration in my eyes,
As he walked by.
As he smiled to those around,
When will he smile at me like that?
I doubt that will happen soon.

As I looked on,
He turned toward me,
I shifted my gaze,
He can't see me,
I thought,

But he walked up to me,
All smiles,
Ooh that beautiful smile.
'Hi' he said to me
'Hope you're good? '
'Smile shyly.
I'm good '
'Ok, I'm Kind of busy at the moment,
We'll speak some other time,
Take care of yourself.'
'Bye' i said in return

Still smiling to myself.
I wished this would happened,
Even as I daydream,
Still watching him.
