You are my ray of sunshine
You are my ray of bliss
In a world of chaotic nothingness

I think about you every now
And then
I think about you even now
I think about you with my eyes open
And dream about you in the stillness of nights
And when my eyes unlock at dawn
They come alive with a glint
‘Cos you are all I seem to think about
And dream about.

Now I sit and ponder and daydream,
Daydreaming in the context of “what if? ”
What if we met ages ago?
What if we are much younger?
What if our world is devoid of differences?
And what if we could create our own perfect destiny,
Bereft of all the prejudices of love?
What if we could shape and mould our inner desires
Into a happy ending love story?
And what if we are fated to be,
But just scared of what the world would say?

My heart creaks in pain every time I think of you leaving
And I wish I could be with you everyday of my life…
