Daylight



Falling through the darkness of some deep abyss
Reaching for a light, I always seemed to miss
And when I found the bottom, I hit it hard and fast
Left there all alone, with the thoughts of all things past
I woke one day to find another, who had fallen down in her own way
Together now we both grow stronger to fight back up toward the light of day
