And after

DAYS AFTER-17

I know
You don't need to go outside
Love your own space
Like to spend time with yourself
Who else can be one's best friend
Other than oneself?
And you know it better than anyone else

You talk to yourself
Listen to your inner voice
You never kill time
Rather you make the best of it
By being with yourself

You have seen both faces of life
Love, concern, and relationship
Frustration, humiliation, and betrayal
All come alike
Neither you feel elated nor let down

You know where and how you are
Where and how others are
Your knowledge of yourself and others
Puts you in an excellent position
To decide what to do, what not to and when

You love others
More than you love yourself
That may be to your disadvantage
Your love may not be reciprocated
By those for whom you live and die
But others are always there
Who will take care

Days remaining
Will be beautiful no doubt
Coz you know how to deal with pair of opposites,
Love and betrayal, happiness and sorrow
Engrossment and alienation
And carry yourself in trying circumstances
