And after

DAYS AFTER-5(Retirement)

Today is not the same as yesterday
And yesterday the day before
Both are beautiful but not the same
Neither today nor yesterday
Only change is permanent
And you are to keep pace
If you do not want to miss your present

It is futile
To search your yesterday in today
Today in your tomorrow
Tomorrow is yet to come
And your today is as beautiful as yesterday
Only you are to be with yourself
And have the eyes to appreciate the difference

Things you have amassed may not remain
But the people you have earned
Their goodwill, unalloyed love and concern
Will never go away
Nothing but selfless love remains
Till the very end

The beauty of life
Rests on love and reciprocation
If you are not a hypocrite
True to others and yourself
Be sure! you will never be out of place

If you visit your old place
You will find the same caring eyes
The same throbbing heart
Greeting you with all its warmth
And you will never feel like a foreigner
An alien in other's space
