Days Gone, Time Stays The Same Poem by Magnus Indomina

Days Gone, Time Stays The Same

Ah, Myriad of emotions begins to stifle thought and reason.
A drowning persona of inconsistencies and poison
One glance from your radiant face.
It is all I yearn to see and chase.

O heart, pure longing, and malcontent
This raging anger inside, all have I spent
This reality of you and I, hammered to be undeserving
But still, my heart, pounds, beats, and unyielding.

o er, in the air i whisper your sweet name.
The wind lashes out in anger towards me, I am to blame.
I live and dream to nights and days only present in memory.
Like a pirate, I hide these golden moments to my treasury.

Go and find Freedom to gale winds unknown.
Go forth and seek pastures yet to be known.
Here I lie, meadows of wilted flowers and lilacs
Foolishly hoping for one day, my heart would find its way back.
