Dead Clock Poem by surbhi singh

Dead Clock

Rating: 5.0

What are you to me.....
I don't know much
But the hands of my clock moves with respect to you
Ceaselessly....
It's day when you wake up
It's night when you sleep
Because of you I smile
And Because of you I weep

How u just left
Without turning back
Even once
And the time between you and me
Kept on increasing
From seconds to hours
Months to years
Till it lost its sync....

And you took everything
Away from me
My every reference,
My conscience and my sense

How can I do this to myself?
how?
I am nothing but a dead clock now
Showing wrong time
Or is in the wrong time
Or whatever... :)

And the time between you and me Kept on increasing From seconds to hours Months to years Till it lost its sync.... the pathetic sense of a heartbreak and loneliness is pictured well in the allegory of the clock that stopped.... very great imagination dear poet. tony just sent u a comment nd gave u a big 10. would u read my poem “if you die before me” thank you. tony God bless you.
