Dead Giveaway Poem by Forsythia Azalea

Dead Giveaway

I see you busy doing something
Not too far from where I'm watching
If you had turned and looked at me
A different face you would've seen

You won't see the nonchalant face I always wear
Nor would you feel the chill of my heartless stares
Instead, an unexpected thing you'd see
The love- struck face of a helpless me

The secret that I'm trying so hard to protect
Is getting more difficult to hide
It's all because of my telltale face
My face that cannot lie

Ask me my feelings for you
That, my lips cannot honestly say
But the answer would be written all over my face
My face that is a dead giveaway.
