Dead Love Poem by Chibueze Oscar Osuji

Dead Love

When is all over, will you still be there?
Or, will you follow me down, over here
With you, i shar'd my sorrow and laughter
Now, is time i open anew chapter
Take note not to conceal your emotion
Lubricate your eyes, let tears be motion

I'm six feet down but i still heard her say

When is all over, i won't meet you there
Your voice has that dark decibel, i fear
Truly, i shar'd your pain and laughter too
The chapter you've open'd is meant for you
Forget about the sweet love we once shar'd
For now you're dead, and really must stay dead

In years to come, you'll be turning to clay.
