Dead Silence Poem by Aisha Evans

Dead Silence

I hate wars
but there is no room for peace
untill we get justice for all even those in the middle east
call a doctor call a preist
maybe at least the prisoners can get released.
I say a prayer for the children who have lost their child hood
all because their parents actions were misunderstood
help them we should but instead we watch in silence
dead silence....
if you listen closely you can hear them screaming
its reality your not dreaming
the government is scheming
and innocent children pay the price
I can give you some advice
you should really think twice
are you safe that this could never happen to you?
we treat others how we wanna be treated
well lately I guess we dont love ourselves
the minute you stop caring about whose wrong and whose right
its over you’ve already lost the fight
you have become a media slave
you've been brainwashed I can tell by how you behave
yea we've seen better days
now were in a daze
trapped in this maze
still im not amazed
amused and outraged
your mind has been caged
release it and rampage
look the proof is on the page
this whole war was staged
what era are we living in
I thought we were better then our ancestors
still we watch in dead silence
hoping, wishing, praying
but still our feet, lips, arms, and tongues dont move

hoping, wishing, praying but still our feet, lips, arms, and tongues dont move Nothing can be change once we are just hoping, wishing and praying. Nothing can be change once we had lost our faith, conscience and union. If faith lost no hope Your dreams and wishes It will be like a mirage Your pray will be just an imitation The good deeds needs the real men they know how to deal. Those men were once before from 1932 years ago. Can you send them back again? Or to have a new generation like them. So i think that may be as you said Hoping, wishing and praying That all what we can do. Thanks a lot dearest Aisha your words moved and awaken my feelings. For sure i will be back to read more from you lovely poetry. With all my best wishes have a good day. Hosny Soliman
