Deadly Awakening Poem by Michael Peterson

Deadly Awakening

Rating: 5.0

Frighting night woke from a dead sleep
Heavy chest pains, struggle to move
Wondering what is going on, I was fine earlier
No warnings, no pain before the sleep
What woke me up?
I will never know, god or a angel above
Told me, I was lucky to make it to the hospital
Could of been massive, might of passed
Struggled with life, stressed with problems
Things need to change, life is to short
Sitting in the ER wondering why me?
I been here before,5 years earlier
But a different way, jumped started 3 times
Live to tell, my, I want to live
Wonder if it's for a reason, a test I need to know
Love to many to leave, not ready to go
Missions and dreams to full fill
Laying near death makes you think and cry
Man or not, this is scary
Will I make it the next time, maybe not
I will try to change, slow down, enjoy life
Get rid of the stress and the rest
Don't need to die, I have to much will
made it home this time, told me I was lucky
Symptoms were different, some how I knew
Danger I was in, cried in the car and I don't cry
Wondering if this was my time, I do not go
Fight for life, live my dreams, love thy family
Forget the pain, the past, work for the future
Relax and breathe, life is precious
May I live for now, I have so much to give
Poems to write, stories to tell
Thanks for life, love and dreams
My life is to give to you and enjoy

Your poem scares me a bit, though I have known all these symptoms through third parties accounts, but the way you have expressed the reasons why you want to live may disturb anyone who reads this poem! Just relax, enjoy the nature and love yourself.
