The Books
These people seem to be like the books,
scattered all around in different cues,
Shelves of books with variant topics:
Medicine, Engineering and comics,
A Child In A Man
Testosterone muscled men have,
The Top and the center, the caves,
Something is there to do the basic,
Nothing is there to think angelic,
House Of Joy!
The house full of just played toys, ,
Just fed bowls, just torn papers,
Newly added drawing to walls,
What a pleasure to eyes and souls,
A Man On The Bridge!
On that old bridge, during the last fight,
Threw the ring into the river to drown and rest,
Returned to find that young heart in the old body,
Still holding the placard of ‘I am sorry' to the wind,
Eye Can'T Lie!
Non verbal signals, Understand the pupils,
When these are bigger, smaller and normal,
One is attracted to another, the iris open wider,
Black grape balls in the white eye balls glitter.

VS Ma'am: The double edged sword of PH. Straight forward, rough but raw honesty can be seen in her poems. If not a poet, I'm sure she would have become an NSG commando. Ofcourse, even now she's pulling the trigger! Ha Ha! ! I share a lot of views with her, along with a least important simple coincidence that we both belong to same ethnic subgroup. She is the one of the few, I wish to have a healthy competition with. Experience/age has moulded her in a way that our match would be more like Brazil Vs India in football. Ofcourse I'm the Indian! I wish her all the best.

It will be 1000 poems soon a major achievement for a poet. Veeraiah Subbulakshmi strikes at dartboard of the mind with each thought provoking poem. Even hardest topics are presented with greatest ease. Her poems delve into imbalances in society, human relations, social injustice, scientific observation, and so on with precisely chosen words. May you be bestowed with health, energy, and zeal to deliver poems, thousands more. We also derive great benefit from her keen observations. Thank you.

'Don't be sad' is your gift to the youths urging them to dust off worries and failures, nurture strength to stand tall for ever. Well Done.

Respected ma'am, As you asked, I again answered your question. Though like a mother, you must think to forgive me on my mistakes. Thank you

A heroic tale of escape of a dauntless soul (from the burning jungles of Africa?) is delineated in brave new words. The soul flies away with great awareness. Your heart rejuvenates after every heart breaking incident. That is why your comments are roars of an emancipated soul of a wounded lion.

I just read the first eleven poems. i like their heaviness, their earthy tones. I like how they shed light over scenes not yet familiar to me, though I've seen these scenes' equivalents. I look forward to reading the rest of the poems. They are similar to the my writings. Thanks for the invitation.

The poor are docile to suffer in silence in a democracy. The religious and caste majority dictates and at times unlawful in democracy. The minority has no strength to stand up and fight.Democracy is unsuiatable for a caste or religion based society. The voice of this poet is the voice of the poor. Each of her poem vouchsafes this fact. The plight of the poor is explained in rhyming lines. Hats off!

Having garbage collected in our body and soul, we are remnants of waste.Every stanza gives new images and ideas. The first two lines in the second stanza depict clearly the rational thoughts of the poetess. Very good poem indeed!

We should be thrifty to give what we can to the homeless. This truth is brought out in a nice way. The social consciousness of the poetess is beautifully delineated. The cars that carry none too disturb the sleep of the homeless. Wonderful poem on this title.
