Dear, Poem by Jenny Kim

Dear,

When was the last time we did anything fun?
All together, all of us?
No I am not blaming you
For it It’s just bitter regret.

Why is it the last memory of your face
So weary and weak?
No I am not blaming you
For it It’s just my painful apology

Just the thought of you
Makes my heart heavy
Yes I know you’re doing this
For our own good
But please come back
Come back home

We’re too far away
Even though you are here
We’re too far away
Please come back
Come back home

I bite my lips
They tremble

People around me don’t know
How blessed they are to have theirs
By their side

Lucky them
But No I am not blaming you
It’s just my desperate wish

Please, I know you’re strong
But sometimes you still need crutches
To depend on
I’ll be the crutches
Just depend
We can do this together
Let’s share
I know I’m not big enough for this big wild world
I know
But let’s share

My desperate prayers
Under the moon
Hope they reach you
Your heart
Hope you know that I care
That I’m with you
I’m with you
We’re with you

You lifted me up
With your tired arms
Now let’s move some weariness
From your arms to my arms
Someday, I will be able
To hold you
I promise

Fate can part us more
But it will lead to light
For He will guide us
Protect us

Please don’t push me out
Let me be in
I can handle it
With your endless love
Your endless love

My endless love
To you, sincerely
