Dear Anna Poem by Fareez Phalez

Dear Anna

Dear Anna,

My undivided heart to truly love you
And if I have two, I'd love with both
If I have more, you're the Queen of Hearts
I love you with all of me and that's an oath

Your name is synonymous to love
The only definition that I understand
You're the alpha and omega of my heart
My rise and my fall, my beginning and my end

A queen that came and conquered this heart
Rules it with such regal grace
And if you leave I'll know of no other
I shall fall with no one else in your place

'Cause this heart lives and dies with you
My loyalty continues after you're gone
There will be no other love as true as yours
Till the world stops I'll forever mourn

Yours faithfully,
Zee

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This poem was written in the form of a letter to a girl named Anna, and the writer (of this letter) named Zee. The names are actually based on myself and a girl I know. Anna was taken from her name Ruzanna, and when spelled backwards, Annazur. As for my name, spelled backwards would be Zeeraf, thus Zee as adapted in this poem. The reason it is written in the form of a letter is to symbolize that I'm trying to get this message to her.

Sweet romantic poetry. It is a pity that the affair has not gone too far. We wish the lover a better luck. My loyalty continues after you're gone Till the world stops I'll forever mourn
