Dear, Corona Virus Poem by Sylvia Chidi

Dear, Corona Virus

Dear, Corona Virus
You see my dilemma is that in due course
I may have no choice but to isolate of course
When the towns and cities become a ghost plus
No Planes, No trains, No people, No Cafes and No Bus
And this my dear virus is not a sick pandemic fuss
Many of us have already experienced a love loss
It is ridiculous to wake each day with an epidemic minus
When you, a virus that is so damn mysterious
Brings this World to a halt and becomes virtually famous

Dear, Corona Virus
You see of course life is precious
Therefore every day I check my pulse
To see if I am still breathing of course
With my cancelled holiday to Cyprus
I feel the situation is delicately disastrous
My emotions make me think this is vivacious
Thousands are losing jobs and their society status
We are giving each other 1M gaps that are spacious
This year I had hoped to save 5G
I am afraid it is no longer about wifi or me

Dear, Corona Virus
You know of course that you appear anonymous
You have gripped the World and we are all anxious
I have now forgotten about the worms in my anus
Everyone is food panic buying and I am nervous
Everyone is talking about you the Corona Virus
This is just making us practically jealous
Because we the people of the World are gorgeous

Dear, Corona Virus
You have touched everyone even the righteous
For the first time the World has slowed down its cause
Every day the media is singing the Corona Virus chorus
People need to earnestly think of the future and focus
Let's debate positively and discuss for many of us do not have to be a genius
While we wait for that day when once more things will become normally glorious
