Dear Dead Dad Poem by Kudzai Kizito Madangwa

Dear Dead Dad

Rating: 5.0

...we once stayed together?
Oh yea! I remember having you
Sometimes back when I
Was a kid
Then now a Sea is between us
But why did you
Abandoned me?
You left me when I
Wasn't able to read and write

Water always flow out
Of my eyes every time
I see other children
With their parents, both of them.
At least you left your wife
To take care of myself
Thank you, but
I had loved to be with you
Love you papa, RIP
