Dear Friend Poem by fatemeh modarres motlagh

Dear Friend

In the quiet moments,
when laughter lingers like soft music,
I think of you.
Your voice, a gentle reminder
that I am never alone,
even in the darkest hours.

We've shared secrets under starry skies,
woven dreams like a tapestry,
each thread a memory,
each color a moment we cherished.
You are the mirror reflecting my soul,
the one who sees my heart
even when I try to hide it.

When storms rage and doubts creep in,
your strength wraps around me,
a warm blanket in the cold,
a lighthouse guiding me home.
You laugh with me,
you cry with me,
and in those shared breaths,
I find my way back to joy.

Thank you for being the light
when shadows threaten to consume.
In this vast world,
you are my chosen family,
my anchor, my confidant,
a treasure I hold close.

And even when miles stretch between us,
know that my heart carries you,
a whisper of friendship that time cannot fade.
For you are not just my friend
you are a piece of my spirit,
woven into the fabric of who I am
