Dear Guardian Angel Poem by rosalinda flores rosevoc

Dear Guardian Angel

For Our Guardian Angels

We laughed unruffled if I cried when life was dark
You tell me of God who forever with me stays
Be not afraid, you prompt, make a mark!

Around the world, you guard me, bright and stark
You let me grow and never let me stray
We laughed unruffled if I cried when life was dark.

My pleas are many, hundreds, held in my heart
You clear the barriers, you lead the way
Be not afraid, you prompt, make a mark!

My angel don't leave me, on paths, I embark
Across seas and mountains, moon and sun rays
We laughed unruffled if I cried when life was dark

Beloved Guardian Angels, joy, you sing, all hark!
God's messages, you proclaim, good news to men all days
Be not afraid, you prompt, make a mark!

And if by chance I lose God in my heart
Teach and carry this lost wretched, I pray
We laughed unruffled if I cried when life was dark
Be not afraid, you prompt, make a mark!

A villanelle
