Dear Me - Poem by Erika Michelle

dear me,
why is it that you scream
but your words are never heard?
your salt lands on false ground
eyesight is blurred
lost and never found.
i see you,
with blood out your wrist
no one listens
why do you scream,
dear me,
when nobody
can hear our pleas?
have no fear,
i am here,
dear, dear me.
its okay,
go and cut
as you sob
with music up loud
cut while the pain comes out.
dear me,
why do you still scream,
when nobody hears you but me?
