Dear Me (Passionate Breeze) Poem by Audrey Kanyera

Dear Me (Passionate Breeze)

Rating: 4.0

Dear me, hear me.
Though life brings disappointments and sorrow;
Forever, you cannot feel hollow.
Yet you may many a time hurt;
The most important things in life you cannot forget.
You may be alone;
But self-pity you cannot prolong.
Oh hear me.

Dear me, fear not.
It is alright to once in a while fall;
Nurse your wounds, stand up; oh hear my call.
Beloved me, without attempting, you cannot just heave a sigh;
Do not fear, leap and try.
You are only human, many a time you err;
Do not despair, learn and to yourself be fair.
I entreat you, fear not.

Dear me, l beg of you.
Smile again;
For soon your aches will be swept away in the rain.
Rise again, do not bow;
For look high up, hope is there in the rainbow.
Love again, do not dread;
For it is in a sunny path that you will tread.
Oh beloved me, smile again, the sun is shining for you.
