Dear Monalisa Poem by asaolu kolawole ifedayo

Dear Monalisa

When leonardo da vincil
held his graffiti to paint
i stood unseen by his side, until
the portrait of lisa gheradini chant
the fame for every womanhood
salient womb of where i came
and iam the one he called,
francesco del giocando

Dear monalisa, thy enigmatic smile
quench the bawling world
portrait of harmony
teaching lillies some better way to bloom
and i called you from my dream
to bear the witness of my love
as a festoon of heaven's throne

princes and princesses wall
your felicitous faces hang
making singing ornithurae an eternal song
caught in the cloud of morrow
surpassing the reign of qeen calidora
whose beauty vanishes with the sound of lightening death

your iris and brow
like an ocean of love
and your cheek as mausoleum at halicarnassus
your nose, a symbol of human breath
all so divine and unmatched
after the reign of dinosaur threat
thy endless portrait; strength unfound
the beauty of womanhood
