Dear Ophelia Poem by Damilare Tella

Dear Ophelia

Rating: 5.0

I've seen you lied a thousand times
yet, I thirst for my own fair share
But, if you will lie to me
Please hold my hands and look into my eyes
Pierce through into my soul
Whisper those words into my ears
Please, do it under the light of a thousand stars
Or at night when the moon is full
So i can feel like i belong to that universe.

Oh dear Ophelia, I beseech thee
Give me a perfect illusion
