Dear World:
I want to hold you tight; to envelop you
in my embrace, and make you believe
that I can handle this all.

I want to kiss your weary face;
murmur sentences strung together
with my compassion;
So tender that they'd break with any interference.

And, at the same time...
I want to yell at you;
to tell you how bloody sick
of your apathy I'm getting;

I'm so tired of the way you treat your
brethren; the way you treat me;
the way you treat yourselves...
I just want
you
to
love each other- to love
me- like I'm trying to
love
you.
