Dear You Poem by Taasvinie Nahenthran

Dear You

Why am I so meaningful to you?
What did I do?
From where all these comes?
Instead, I didn't ask for anything.

Practically, am I meant for u?
Do you know what's my favourite colour? No.
Do you know what are my dislikes? No.
Do you know what kinda girl I am? I doubt.

I'm scared.
I'm scared to fall into a new one,
I'm scared I might wash my hands off,
I'm scared you might too.

You're a perfect one. It's undeniable.
I'm sure you can fit into any situations.
You do know you can.
Maybe I'm not perfect physically and mentally.

There are many fishes in the sea.
There's no point holding on to one.
