Death Poem by martin gadd

Death

It’s finally come.
Come to take her.
Take her from the pain.
Take her from the indignity.
Take her from us.

I watch as death takes her slowly.
Takes her from this world
Takes her from her family
Takes her from them

I say my goodbyes
I look into her eyes
I kiss her beautiful soul.
I hope the next place is better.
I selfishly cry.

She touched my heart.
More than she will ever know.
