Death And... - Poem by dipak adhya

(A tribute to poet Srutidhar Mukhopadhyaya)

Death too gave him
Series of pain
Death too fought
Seizeing him in his den
At last, at last,
Adieu friend
And pray
For a sublime life
With your dearest ones
Who had left you long before
And now,
Let you enjoy a life in real paradise!

Topic(s) of this poem: death of a friend

Form: Blank Verse

Death is truth and finally every person passes through this gateway. Death brings sorrow and provokes thought. This poem is very brilliantly penned. May soul rest in peace. Tribute given to poet Srutidhar Mukhopadhyaya in this poem is excellently expressed...10 (Report)Reply
