Death Doesn't Dance Poem by Roger Gerald Hicks

Death Doesn't Dance

Old age starts
in the feet.

First the toes
grow numb,

then the legs
won't dance.

Arms weaken,
& dreams fade.

Finally,
a stroll

to the garden
seems too far.
