Death Equals Peace - Poem by Valmiro Zithiz
After years my fears are coming to an end,
Our tortured soul's evil bond crashes to ashes...
Tearing with soft poisonous gaze, my heart's final pieces...
Glassy rivers of lotus in which i see my reflection...
I see myself clean my falling tears as they turn into blood,
Empty souls and uncontrolled hearts reign in this world...
So i take a last look as i perfect my departure...
my journey to a world of my own...in which pains feels soft and violence is none,
Its just minutes before i am gone,
all my beloved ones will not remember me with grief,
they will laugh with relief...
And my shadow will be the only one at my funeral...
My destiny is not celestial nor infernal...
Is a world of my own....
Altough my only clothes are a muddy sack gown and a pair of imaginary shoes...
And my only victories are dreams of someting good...
My salvation is this...death equals peace...
And as this cloudy breeze in a cold and harmonic morning...
Let my last breath and my final dropp of blood...falls to the puddle off mud my body rests in...Of my life I always had second toughts...
at last, after eternities of my screams falling like tears on deaf ears, my calling was heard...
