Death Follows Those That Do Not Play Fair Poem by Dillon Keuthonymos Crawford

Death Follows Those That Do Not Play Fair

How do you sleep at night?
Do you know that I sit here in pain
My tears flow for you
My heart breaks
My pains throb
I sit here and wonder if you ever think about me
About how I feel and how I am
But i dont care if you do or if you dont
My head hangs low in shame
Life throws curve balls at my life and I cant make contact
I grasp the light but hid from it simotaneously
Stare wide eyed at the disbelief of how high you soar above me
My failures hold you up and your successions hold me down
I guess no matter what I do I can't win
So I guess I should just give and except the fact that I am only here to hold you up
But not no more
You gotta hold another down cause I've broken free of your grasp
Your bond still stays but your leash is ripped
Your ability to tie me down has vanished
My faith has broken free and pulled my body out and my soul reaches for the sky
It grabs and holds on and pulls me up and doesnt let go
It believes in me it helps me through rough times
I stand here before you to say
Thanks for the misinturpritation
You hold me down for your fun and now im free
And I'll break the knees of those who plea
After pulling me down for my mercy
Hell burns bright for those who fight
Against the path of death and the doves flight
No-matter what they do they cannot change how or when or where they die
Yet when they find out that soon they will parish like the people they stood on to get to their current place
They fidget and scream
Kick and punch
Bribe and whine
All so they dont die
Yet no matter their efforts
No matter the times
Aeath will come and will take your life as is meant
And no-one can stand infront for you to take the force of that event
