Death From Inside Poem by Frank Castillo Perez

Im dieing inside.
i dont know what to do.
and i try ask the lord.
Just give me one clue.
I cry myself to sleep at night.
The pain makes me glum.
I think of all the pain this life brought to come.
Nobody listens to me anymore.
I feel like Im trapped.
As if i moved from my position my neck would be snapped.
Day by day i try to thrive.
its like this pain just eats me alive.

But tonight the sky is blue and the stars are bright.
so i prayed to the lord with all my might.
Lord please give me the strength to go on.
And he says to me.
my little boy your journey has just begun.
