Death Is A Dream Poem by Heidi K. Haskell

Death Is A Dream

note: I wrote this one in seventh grade. Bear that in mind and be kind.

Grief is no longer;
Strife is no more.
Immortality has been
Reached.
Came, saw, and conquered;
Struck them down to the floor -
Their leader has been
Impeached.

Eternal am I,
The greatest dictator.
To a dictator, self is immortal.
To a dictator, it's not as it seems.
To me, all their lives are immoral.
To a dictator, death is a dream.
