Death Lurks Poem by Windsor Guadalupe Jr

Death Lurks

Death flagrantly lurks
Outside the window,
Calculating the peccadilloes
Of our sensibilities,
Romances,
Breaths,
Sycophancy,
And glinting things…

Death grows jealous
Over the stringed clocks,

Anxiously waiting.
