The morning clouds so dim and gray
I feel a tear fall from my eyes
I reach for you but you're not there
But surely this is no new surprise
I can tell you how much I love you
And I try my hardest everyday and night
Somehow you smile with certain doubt
I feel like a stranger holding you tight

My feelings can't explain all the pain
I feel so lost without your love I do
Being that said I keep on trying
Even though I know our love is through
So now what I question myself
Recalling all the love from the start
